Across 2023, we have been pleased to support our customers in driving baking innovation and business success by delivering technical expertise, market insight, and high-quality baking ingredients.
This has included expanding our ingredients supply to meet ever-changing consumer trends, such as bake-stable fillings, a wider range of fruit jams and mincemeats, and added-value bread ingredients such as tiger paste and new varieties of hydrated grains.
Alongside our technical delivery, we have been pleased to also continue important Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including the Bake4Ukraine campaign, which has brought food manufacturing leaders together to deliver equipment to Ukrainian craft bakeries, so they can in turn continue to bake goods for their country people most in need.
Other initiatives have included providing work experience and classes to support the careers of young bakery students with ABST and Market Field College, while also raising funds and making donations to local causes close to the heart of our staff members, including Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals Charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, Pink For Peace, Colchester Night Shelter, and Derian House Children’s Hospice.
