Preparation
Method:
- Mix the margarine or butter, and water, in a planetary mixer for 5minutes medium speed using a beater attachment.
- Scale into 6 inch sandwich pans (greased and floured) at 300g
- Bake at 180°c for 25 minutes (approx)
- Tip from tins and cool.
- Slice each cake into 2 slices.
- Assemble into sponges using fresh whipped cream and jam.
- Dust with icing sugar to serve.
